NTPC Kahalgaon organized a plog run event under Fit India Freedom Run 3.0 on the occasion of the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at the Durga Puja pandal area in Deeptinagar Township.

Under the leadership of Shri Arindam Sinha, CGM (Kh)  Fit India Freedom Run started from Durga puja pandal and cleanliness drive was carried out in mela areas.

Shri Sinha appealed to Deeptinagar residents not to use single-use plastic in the township for a clean environment.

Employees and family members took part in the plog run and pledge for a single-use plastic-free township.

During the occasion, Shri P.R. Bandyopadhyay, GM (O&M), Shri Neeraj Kapoor, GM (TS), Shri S.K. Saha, GM (FM), Shri P.K. Mohapatra, GM (HR), Shri N.P. Shahar, GM (Maintenance) and other senior officials were present.

NTPC Kahalgaon will carry out cleanliness, space management and housekeeping drives in plant and township premises during the month-long swachhta campaign.
